Caught you at the Irish Arts sunday and we met briefly as you were leaving Druids. I very much enjoyed hearing you. I'm also glad you gave me your card with the website info. I had it at my computer to subscribe and my daughter who will be 18 this month was working on a report. I came home to your sounds on the computer. My daughter was wow mom where did you get this?.. i love him..his lyrics and his music. The years have been filled with many wonderful bonding moments through music with both my daughter and my son (hes a year younger)...thanks for providing a new experience for us and we look forward to catching your show here in NY soon i hope. Thanks...

- Cynthia, New York, NY

Came across your site, interesting- your talent is your music and song writing so your mind keeps you striving to achive a goal out of that and your heart is fairness for mankind and the truth for his exsistence. Combine the two and you will write some very good poetry. I don't mean for song lyrics, I mean poetry . Alan's poetry from the heart.

You're doing great, Alan. I'm a big fan of you, your spirit....your courage! Onward and upward.

- Rebecca, New York, NY

Alan, great voice man! And great songs too. You seem to have a lot of talent and...a successful vibe.

- Kenny, Nashville, TN

Just listening to your cd.. you my friend, are an incredible talent... and i'm not one for compliments.. much luck with your move,, you are missed!!!

- Danny, New York, NY

If moving to Nashville means you'll be playing in NC more often, then yee-haw! We'd love to see (hear, really) you again in Charlotte.

- Teneal, Charlotte, NC

Alan is great. I had the pleasure to listen to him play in Denver, CO this last summer and get to talk to him afterward. His music is amazing, lyrically moving, and instrumentally outstanding. If you have not listened to Alan play you are missing out on one of the best singer-songwriters in the USA. He was able to captivate a bar full of happy hour patrons into forgeting about the after work conversation and enchanted them with his music and talent. I look forward to getting to hear him play live again soon. All you people in NYC are lucky to have that opprotunity more than the rest of us.

- Bryan, Colorado

I've been following your progress as you tour, living vicariously through your adventures. I have tremendous repect for your accomplishment and hope you continue to be successful. I really enjoy reading your journal and looking at the pictures. Congratulations on living your dream.

- Rob, New York, NY

Looks like the tour is going very well - I'm jealous as I'm stuck here at my desk in Sesame Street, "ah for the open road and a bag of donuts!". Pics are great too - I saved one as wallpaper on my desktop - the highway shot - just road and sky - to remind me of the possibilities! keep well, stay away from the junk food! Hugs!

- Fiona, New York, NY

Alan, you've been living an extraordinary life before I met you and now I see more and more people WORLD WIDE will discover for themselves that you, my dear, are no ordinary miracle! I will most certainly spread the world to EVERYONE I know through out the USA to catch you on tour!

- Debi, New York, NY

I checked out your website last night and listened to "Send Me Someone" (real cool), "Freight Train Love" (I liked it) and "Better Luck Next Time" (loved it also). Listened to Sons and Daughters (Sons and Daughters) all the way here. I just love you and Kim together singing. It's so magical, so unique, so soothing. You guys just so compliment eachother. I wish you could make another album with her. Where is she???

- Jill, New Jersey

I absolutely loved your music last night. In fact, the check is in the mail for your CD. Best of luck with writing and performing. I'll be there for your next gig.

I just received it today! I LOVE the CD! I believe it's the best I've heard you. My family also likes it, we're playing it right now! Thank U! Love, your BIGGEST fan in Norway. :o)

- Eva, Norway

Seeing the two words "Denver" and "Boulder" on your gigs page brought a very warm smile to my face. You can count on me being there for both shows as I live equidistant to both towns! I can't wait!

- Bryan, Colorado

You are awesome. Whenever I check in, you are doing more and more. God bless you real good. Keep it up as you are an inspiration to me. Love the picture (on the road)!

- Debby Williams-Cameron

I listened to the CD's you gave me and wow! It's great stuff! And even though the one from 1999 is already good the new demo CD is really amazing! It is really perfectly arranged and you really developed a personal style. And it puts the listener into a very good mood (or at least me ;o)..).

- Yvonne, Germany

I bought your CD at the World Trade Center last Monday. I'm moving to a new residence and have therefore spent the whole day packing. As I packed, I played your CD. I have continuous play on my system and it continued playing over and over for about six (6) hours. In fact, I just pressed play again to listen to it now. I just wanted to write to tell you that your CD is amazing. You will be a big success... Hang in there and keep going. By the way, I'm not easily impressed...

I've already been spreading the word... Would love to be on your mailing list so I can plan to see you live. You have an incredible voice. All the best.

I'll be putting in "Bound For Better" in the CD player in my car tomorrow as I take my trek from Kansas to Colorado. Thanks again for making great music with feeling that people can relate too. The term "soundtrack of the moment" is sometimes over used, but in this case it is true. I am bound for better things in Colorado. Rock the audience tomorrow night. I wish I could be across half the nation to hear you.

- Bryan, Kansas

I have been listening to your MP3 files and ordered a cd this morning. I can't wait till it gets in.... You have a tangible honesty and gentleness in your music and writing that I really appreciate listening to. Something about it settles me.

- Carolyn, Studio City, CA

Hey Alan! Remember me? I'm the one you gave the CD to on the subway. You know, I never really listened to this kind of rock before, BUT let me tell you, you got me hooked, especially on that song "Bound for Better." And some songs like "One by One" have such a kewl beat to them, it just makes you wanna twist & clap your hands & stump your feet.HEHE. I think that your band has so much potential! I'm not just saying that. Thank you for letting me in!!!

- Elena, New York, NY

[Your] songs are great. When you're following someone for a number of years you can really hear in their music where they are in their life: their maturity, the choices they've made, the changes as they grow. I think that to be able to have those things come through in the music shows how much the music is a part of you. And that, somehow, makes it better. Very passionate.

- Jenn, New Jersey

Hi Alan. I bought your CD at the Irish Arts Center. I enjoyed listening to it. The song about the freight train is really great!

Hey Alan. I can't tell you how much you've fanned the flames of my inspiration. I haven't written a song since 1989, which is odd because I have several notebooks filled with them starting in '83. Here it is, 2003, and I'm writing one. So weird. If I sit down at a piano and bang out a tune, I'm blaming you pal!

- Mark, New York, NY

Hi Alan! I came to your show at the Living Room on Saturday night. I'm really glad I did. You are great! I hope to come see you again. Your show was fun. Thanks. From a new fan. Lisa.

- Lisa, Long Island, NY

You rock in every sense of the word.

- Julie, New York, NY

Your music, voice and words moved me and your warmth touched me. Thank you.

- Debbie, New York, NY

I just wanted you to know it made me very sad when you said you woildn't be performing in the city for a while. I find your music healing. I hate you for not playing "Cruel". Just kidding.

- Jean, New Jersey - 4/1/03

I have been listening to "Ordinary Miracle" almost everyday. It sounds great.

- Lisa, San Francisco, CA

Thanks for the CD(s). ["Ordinary Miracle"] is great! I like your voice a lot. I like all the tracks and esp. #7. I have the extra copy and will give it to a friend.

- Liz, Bloomington, IN

Man, we did a great job. The groove is great with the band. I thought your singing was really good. That comes from performing live a lot.

- Kenny Aronoff, Drummer (Bob Dylan, Elton John, Mick Jagger, Melissa Etheridge, Jewel)

I like ["Ordinary Miracle"] very much. You guys sound great. I have to say, Alan, your voice continues to get stronger. You have worked hard. I look forward to seeing you play when I come [to New York].

- Barney, Barcelona, Spain
